 The Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) is both a concept and practice that includes wires, cables, harnesses, connectors, terminals, attachments, and all other electrical devices installed on an aircraft as part of a unified system. It provides a comprehensive approach to aircraft wiring design and layout, covering all wires and wired devices used for transmitting electrical energy.
